Welcome objectives are tasks EA sets at the start of the season that reward you for things you were going to do anyway: opening packs, playing matches, completing SBCs, selling on the market. They’re among the most profitable things at launch, because they don’t cost coins, only time.

In EA FC 27 they’re called Foundations and they have their own tab inside Objectives. The Web App opened on 16 September 2026 and the game came out on the 25th.

First things first: your starter league

The first time you enter Ultimate Team you pick a starter pack from one league: Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga or Ligue 1 (each with its women’s league). The choice is final: it decides your starter players and a good chunk of the Foundations rewards, which come from that league. If you skip the screen, you stay with the Premier League, which is selected by default.

The Foundations objectives in FC 27

They come in groups that unlock one after another, in this order:

  1. The Journey Begins: the first steps (play a match, etc.). Gives 3 gold player packs from your league and an Anchor chemistry style.
  2. First Team Dreams: gives a left back from your league and an Engine chemistry style. It asks you to do the «Getting Started» SBCs (see welcome SBCs).
  3. Rising Through the Ranks: gives 2 packs of 80-83 gold players from your league.
  4. Market Madness: Transfer Market tasks.
  5. Chasing Greatness.
  6. Total Football: the last one; gives a striker from your league and a gold player pack.

Three things worth knowing:

  • They don’t expire or refresh: you can do them at your own pace. They don’t give Season Pass points either.
  • The players they give are untradeable. Don’t get rid of them too quickly: they’re useful for Evolutions and for filling SBCs.
  • Separately there are season objectives (daily and weekly, which give points) and event objectives, tied to a promo and with an expiry date.

Rewards according to FUTBIN (Premier League / LaLiga version); player names change depending on the league you choose.

Which ones are really worth it

They all give you something, but the time they take varies hugely. The rule, year after year, is this:

  • The ones you can do from the Web App (opening packs, listing cards, completing SBCs, managing your club) are free money. You can work on them even before the game comes out.
  • The play-a-match ones are worth it if you were going to play those matches anyway. Playing just for the objective usually isn’t worth it.
  • The win-with-odd-conditions ones (score in a specific way, with players from a certain league) are the most frustrating. Leave them for last.

And one rule that saves you headaches: always check the expiry date before starting a long one.

The ones you can get ahead on from the Web App

This is the advantage of getting in on day one. While most people wait for the game, you can start ticking off objectives from your browser:

  • Open the welcome packs.
  • List cards on the Transfer Market.
  • Complete the welcome SBCs.
  • Apply consumables and build squads.
  • Sign players from a specific league or nation.

Heads up: from the Web App and the Companion App you can only complete club-management and market objectives; the play-a-match ones have to be done in the game. More about the Web App on the EA FC 27 Web App page.

How to complete them faster

Many market objectives are pure repetition: list twenty cards, buy players from a league, sell a set number. That’s exactly what NokaFut cuts down.

  • List in a row: with the quick list shortcut, each card is one key instead of five clicks.
  • Sign from a specific league: save the search as a filter and don’t rebuild it every time.
  • Complete SBCs: the NOK-AI SBC Solver, built into the extension, finds the cheapest squad with your cards.
  • Clear out duplicates: Duplicates to SBC gets rid of them in one go.

Frequently asked questions

Do the objectives expire?

The Foundations ones don’t: they stay until you complete them. Event ones do, and quite quickly. The date is shown on the objective’s own card.

Can I see them on my phone?

Yes, in the Companion App. And if you want to use NokaFut on your phone, there are guides for Android and iPhone and iPad.

Do I need to buy the game?

For the objectives you complete from the Web App, no: you just need an EA account and your club created. For the play-a-match ones, yes.

How much of this is free?

Most of it. NokaFut is free for almost everything it does, and paid features tell you inside the extension before you use them, with a link to upgrade to PREMIUM or SUPERPREMIUM. If something is paid, you know right away.

Note: NokaFut is a third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Electronic Arts. Using external tools on the Web App —and especially the automations in the paid tiers— goes against EA’s terms of service and may lead to penalties on your account. The decision to use it is yours.
